Gender Specific Mystery Boxes May Have Been Scrapped!

It’s been a long time since we have had any news regarding the new Gender Specific Mystery Boxes that we exclusively revealed were in development back in February. The main reason for this was that after the Mystery Boxes had been designed and the Male Mystery Box Clothing contents and Female Mystery Box Clothing contents had been drawn, that all information and sources for these were wiped as if they had never even been created.

All of this comes after an almost certain release date of during Eighties Week was pushed back and never re-scheduled. The Sims Social Fansite writers then presumed that due to the very specific Eighties Theme of all of the clothing items tied to the Gender Specific Mystery Boxes that a future Eighties style theme would emerge and would then be dropped in conjunction.

All of the above no longer seem to be the case as surprisingly some of the Gender Specific Mystery Box clothing items were sneaked into the Spa Week Clothing drop and we believe some more will be added to the Greek Gods Week Clothing Collection too, which of course leads us to believe that The Sims Social developers at Playfish have scrapped the idea or will be creating different items to feature in the Mystery Boxes if they are ever released in the future of The Sims Social online Facebook game.

We will be interested to see what the future holds for this topic and we’ll be keeping a close eye on any news and information regarding the Gender Specific Mystery Boxes to see if we can put a definitive finger on what’s happening regarding them.
